Located at the southernmost part of Prince Edward County is some of the most picturesque countryside to be found anywhere. Its origins date back to 1784 when a group of about 40 disbanded German nationals settled in nearby Waupoos.
In this tranquil area which has a spiritual quality to it you will find the three little churches that make up Prince Edward South Pastoral Charge of The United Church of Canada. Each one of these small rural churches offers its own unique charm which is best enjoyed when the church is active in providing a worship space for the people of the area.

Each of these three rural community churches offer a glimpse into life as it was in the 1800’s for the people of the area and should be visited by those who pass through the area. In the year 2007 both Cherry Valley and South Bay offer active Christian worship and community outreach and welcome ANYONE who would like to share in our worship and friendship.
